영국 노팅험에 위치한 Nottingham Trent University 패션 관련 학과를 소개해드릴까해요

NTU는 노팅험 지역에 있는 종합대학교로 Design 관련 학과의 높은 인지도를 갖고 있습니다.

영국내 취업률 1위라는 어마어마한 장점이 있으며 국제학생들의 만족도가 매우 높은 학교로 알려져 있습니다.

최신 트랜드에 민감하게 대처하는 것이 높은 취업률을 유지할 수 있는 비결이라고 생각이 됩니다.

오늘은 이런 NTU의 신생 학과인 Medical Product Design 학과를 안내해드리도록 하겠습니다.

지금까지는 의료기기 관련 제품 디자인은 Product Design 학과 안에서만 수업이 가능하였으나

매년 급성장하고 있는 의료기기영역을 위하여 신설 된 학과로 생각이 되네요!^^

MA 또는 MSc로 학위를 제공받게 되는 이 학과는 의료시술, 진단, 처치에 목적을 둔 제품 생산을

목표로는 하는 학과로 신소재, 신기술 등에 관한 교육을 통하여 Healthcare 산업 제품 생산 및 디자인에

전반적인 교육이 가능한 학과 입니다. 학생들은 부족 의료 지식 부분을 도움 받기 위하여 Medical 전문 인력들과 함께 작업을 진행하도록 디자인 되어 있습니다.

기본 적으로 교과정은 Project 형태로 진행이 되며 강의, 세미나, 워크샙, 스튜디오 세션, 튜터리얼을 통하여

이론과 실무 교육을 모두 함께 교육 받게 됩니다. 학생들은 John Pacey Lowrie and Queens Medical Centre

또는 연계대학교으로 부터 Live Project를 제공 받게 되며 프로젝트와 코스워크를 통하여 성적 평가를 받게 됩니다.

Horizon Scanning* (20 credit points)
Multidisciplinary Innovation Project* (20 credit points)
Medical Design: Theory and Practice (20 credit points)
Design for Health and Wellbeing (MA only) (20 credit points)
Technology for Health and Wellbeing (MSc only) (20 credit points)

Individual Major Study Project, 60 credits

The individual major project will develop your independent research, innovation and implementation skills, and industrially linked projects are strongly encouraged and supported. The project may be pursued either at this university, or at partner organisations in the UK or overseas.
